MidpSSH | SSH and Telnet client for Mobile Devices

On the BlackBerry Pearl 8120, if you press the Menu key while connected, this list of options will pop up.

What do these options do?

1 input

This pops up a text box in which you can compose your command. When you are done, hit Menu again and select Input to send the command followed by Enter, or Type to send the command on its own.

2 type

This puts you into “type mode” where each key you press is sent to the remote machine.

3 macros

4 tab

5 space

6 enter

Same effect as pressing Enter in a regular ssh session from one computer to another. Probably the Tab, Space and Esc options also send the respective keystroke, but I haven’t tested this myself.

7 esc

8 ctrl+ input

9 alt+ input

* shift+ input

0 opens special menu
